However, the frequency of dermaplaning can vary depending on your skin type and individual needs. Our licensed estheticians can assess your skin and recommend a personalized dermaplaning schedule for you.

Will Dermaplaning affect my hair growth?

No, Dermaplaning does not interfere with the follicular structure of the hair, and therefore has no effect on hair growth. This is because Dermaplaning only removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) on the face, which has no impact on the hair follicles. Unlike terminal hair (such as eyebrows), vellus hair has no appearance of a blunt end when shaved. The "thicker" appearance of hair growth often comes from the blunt end created by slicing terminal hair. Therefore, Dermaplaning will not cause any changes in your hair growth or density.
